HWPL seeks to establish the heart of peace into the framework of society, even through the laws that govern us and the cultures that influence us, and by working hand in hand with local and national government officials and civil servants to implement peace into the everyday lives of our communities.

2 MOUs signed by Yavapai College Chief of Police and Arizona State University (ASU) Chief of Police. HWPL Peace Education will also be implemented at Yavapai College Justice Institute

Over 15 HWPL Volunteers beautified Kelly Park on Dec 2nd 2023 through trash pick ups and chalk art in their basketball court to commemorate the work of Rosa Parks. Our Volunteers were joined by Councilwoman Lillie P. Darden.

HWPL has donated a total $15,000 worth of food donations to the City of Compton residents.

Conducted a trash pick-up with Councilmember Imelda Padilla in LA Council District 6 from 9-11am on Saturday, March 23rd.

Following the two tornadoes that hit Carson City in May 2023, 20+ HWPL youth volunteers gathered to remove dangerous debris from roads and trash that was blown along into nearby streets and parks.

HWPL held a series of food donations for Anaheim At Risk Seniors and formerly homeless veterans throughout 2023, including during food crisis caused by the unprecedented flash floods.
